The Federal Ministry of Works dismissed reports alleging structural defects on the Oju-Ore Bridge in Ota, Ogun State, stating that the bridge passed integrity tests and remains structurally sound. The ministry's assurance followed an inspection led by Engr. Musa Saidu, Director of Bridges, Highways and Road Designs, on the directive of Minister of Works Engr. David Umahi. The inspection was prompted by social media concerns about the bridge's quality and integrity. Saidu said the project complied with engineering standards and cautioned against using social media photos or videos to judge structural integrity.
