The President of the National Assembly of Côte d'Ivoire, Hon. Patrick Achi, has called for stronger legislative cooperation among African parliaments. He stressed the need for sustained parliamentary diplomacy to support the continent's governance and development agenda. Achi made the call in Abuja during a courtesy visit to the Secretariat of the Conference of Speakers and Presidents of African Legislatures. He is in Abuja to participate in the Gender and Social Inclusion Summit 2026, where he is expected to deliver the keynote address.
