Arteta's team experienced air traffic control problems while traveling to Italy for a Champions League match against Napoli, arriving three hours late. According to Arteta, the players were prepared for such disruptions because he had exposed them to similar situations in pre-season. He employs tactics such as delaying transport or meals, taking different routes to stadiums, and making dressing rooms hotter and more uncomfortable.
