FG Disburses N1.1bn Additional Exit Benefits To 175 Retirees

The Federal Government has disbursed approximately N1.1 billion as Additional Exit Benefits to 175 retirees from Treasury-funded Ministries, Departments, and Agencies. The beneficiaries retired between January 1 and August 31, 2026. The payments are made under the Federal Government Exit Benefit Scheme, which provides an additional financial benefit equivalent to 100 percent of total annual emolument for civil servants who have served at least 10 years.
