Albert Horsfall, the pioneer Director-General of Nigeria's National Intelligence Agency (NIA), has died at the age of 84. His son, Donald Horsfall, announced the death in a family statement, saying he passed away peacefully after a fulfilled life. The family described him as a dedicated public servant who served Nigeria with integrity and patriotism. Horsfall was also recognized as a founding father of Rivers State and an elder statesman.
