The Ogun State Government has released N6.75 billion to pay retirees' gratuity and pension benefits. The Additional Pension Benefit scheme was introduced to cushion the disparity between benefits under the former Defined Benefit Scheme and the Contributory Pension Scheme. The payment aims to address retirees' entitlements.
