Vice-President Kashim Shettima has arrived in New Delhi, India, to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit. The summit aims to deepen Nigeria's bilateral relations, expand trade and investment, and strengthen cooperation with BRICS member and partner countries. Shettima leads a high-level delegation including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, and other ministers. Ahead of the summit, Ojukwu said Nigeria will explore partnerships in agriculture, technology, artificial intelligence, trade, and the digital economy.
