The National Secretary of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Oginni Olaposi, has stated that there is no better alternative to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu among the 2027 presidential candidates. Olaposi made this declaration at a rally in Abeokuta, Ogun State, organized by the Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP). Tinubu is seeking re-election on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform and faces opponents including Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cleared 19 presidential candidates for the 2027 election.
