President Bola Tinubu congratulated Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, on his 74th birthday and 23rd anniversary on the throne. Tinubu described the first-class traditional ruler as a patriot whose life of service has contributed to Nigeria's peace, unity, and progress. He noted that Abubakar served in the army, rising to Brigadier-General before ascending the throne. Tinubu commended Abubakar for his patriotic service and leadership.
