Police debunk fake release on 50,000 constables

The Nigeria Police Force has debunked a fake press release claiming that the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, directed the commencement of training for 50,000 newly recruited constables. The document, which bore the name of Force Public Relations Officer CSP Ani Iniedu, was described as false and unauthorized. The police advised the public, especially recruitment candidates, to disregard its contents and rely only on official channels. The Force said it is tracking those behind the fake document.
