Worshippers in Sokoto lynched a man who allegedly stabbed an Islamic cleric, Malam Musa Lukwa, shortly after he led the Juma'at prayer. The cleric was stabbed after the prayer, and the assailant was subsequently killed by the mob. The incident occurred in Sokoto city.
