Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu has stated that yesterday's solutions cannot address tomorrow's security threats. He spoke at the graduation ceremony of the Leadership and Strategic Studies Course 4/25 at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Abuja. Shaibu highlighted that the contemporary security environment is characterised by terrorism, insurgency, banditry, transnational organised crime, cyber threats, and information warfare.
