Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State is set to be turbaned as the Sardauna of Ilorin on Wednesday, 16th September 2026. The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, announced that the honour recognises the governor's leadership commitment to peace, unity, and developmental strides in Kwara State. The statement was issued by the monarch's spokesperson, Dr AbdulAzeez Arowona.
