The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) have signed a collaborative agreement to combat anti-competitive practices in the petroleum sector. The partnership aims to enhance information sharing, market intelligence, and coordinated enforcement. FCCPC's Tunji Bello emphasized the sector's strategic importance to the Nigerian economy and the need to protect consumers from exploitative practices.
