Aviation security experts have expressed concerns over the alleged procurement of firearms and ammunition worth N522.49 million by the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development. They warned that the proliferation of arms at airports could lead to security and command-and-control challenges. The experts also questioned approvals granted during the tenure of former Minister Hadi Sirika, following an Auditor-General's report on non-compliance.
