Centre targets Nigeria’s productivity gap with new professional certification

The Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development (CeProd) has announced plans to certify a new generation of productivity professionals to address Nigeria's productivity gap. The programme will equip participants with skills in productivity management, organisational performance, digital transformation, performance measurement, and business growth. Director General Dr Chris Egbu said the initiative responds to declining productivity in African economies, particularly in the public sector. He noted that addressing the challenge requires professionals capable of identifying inefficiencies and managing organisational change.
