Two jailed for violent burglary of Man City goalkeeper Donnarumma

Two men have been sentenced by the Paris Criminal Court for their involvement in a violent burglary at the home of Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his partner, Alessia Elefante. The incident, which occurred in their luxury apartment on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, involved Donnarumma being beaten and Elefante being choked with a cable; she later suffered a miscarriage attributed to the trauma. Ilyas Kherbouch, identified as the mastermind, received a nine-year prison sentence and an 80,000 euro fine, while co-defendant Moktar D. was given a five-year sentence with two years suspended. A third defendant, Khyan M., was acquitted despite prosecutors' suspicions that he also orchestrated the robbery from his prison cell.
