Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the creation of Ummu District in Zuru Local Government Area. He also appointed Aliyu Ibrahim Gujiya as the new district head. The creation of the district is expected to enhance administrative efficiency and bring governance closer to the people.
