The chairman of the Abia State Disability Commission, David Anyaele, has assured Persons With Disabilities in the state of justice, inclusivity, and a sense of belonging. Anyaele stated this while addressing PWDs protesting the non-inclusion of their names among newly recruited teachers undergoing orientation in the state. He directed the protesters to compile their full names, local government areas, contact details, and educational qualifications, and submit them directly to the Commission's office. According to the chairman, Governor Alex Otti has made it clear that his administration would give priority to people with disability in recruitment exercises in the state, which was why PWDs were waived from participating in the Computer-Based Test.
