A woman in Ng'ombe has told the Chelstone Local Court that her husband declared "marriage is a scam" after she confronted him over allegedly bathing with another woman. Stella Mwalubanga, 29, said the incident occurred while she was recovering from a caesarean operation at her mother's home. Her husband countered that she drank herself to stupor and returned home with bottles of beer. The case is before the local court.
