President John Dramani Mahama has outlined a multi-phase strategy for his 'Big Push' road infrastructure initiative, acknowledging that not all roads can be fixed at once. Speaking after inspecting the Wa-Han-Tumu-Navrongo road project in the Upper West Region, he said major arterial corridors must be prioritized to create a foundational network. He noted that Big Push Phase One is underway, with Phase Two being scoped and Phase Three planned. Mahama appealed for patience, citing budget limits.
