The Federal Government has begun an N18 billion severance settlement covering 2,700 former workers of Nigeria Airways Limited. The payment comes more than two decades after the national carrier was liquidated. The settlement is expected to bring long-awaited relief to the former employees. The exercise is being coordinated by the relevant government agencies.
