The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has fined RwandAir ₦15 million for failing to resolve a passenger’s baggage complaint within the stipulated timeframe. The sanction was announced by NCAA Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Michael Achimugu. The regulator also directed the airline to replace the passenger’s damaged bag and pay $170 in first-need compensation under Part 19 of the NCAA Regulations 2023. The NCAA continues to enforce passenger protection regulations.
