Mr. Osman Chennar, CEO of Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria-D7G (DICON-D7G), commended Nigeria's defence manufacturing industry for its strong showing at the 2026 El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt. The airshow, held from September 8 to 10, 2026, brought together leading players in the global aerospace and defence industry. Chennar noted that the 2026 edition was the second edition, following the inaugural event in 2024, which attracted more than 250 exhibitors from 50 countries, over 100 aircraft, and more than 12,000 visitors. He said DICON-D7G's participation demonstrated Nigeria's growing capacity and determination to develop a robust indigenous defence manufacturing industry.
