Rivers ADC says police, local security committee disrupted its meeting, arrested members

The Rivers State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) accused the police and a local security committee of disrupting its meeting and arresting its members. The party expressed particular concern over an attack on the residence of Isaiah Thomas in Omuoko village, Aluu, which was allegedly looted and burnt in August following a political meeting. The ADC condemned the actions and called for the protection of its members' rights. The police have not yet responded to the allegations.
