The Jigawa Pilgrims Welfare Board has exhausted its allocated slots for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage and is requesting additional seats from the National Hajj Commission. The Director General of the board expressed optimism that the commission will approve the request in time to allow more intending pilgrims to complete their documentation. The board's request comes as demand for Hajj slots remains high among residents of the state.
