Haske dumps APC, joins APM as Adamawa governorship candidate

Abdulrahman Haske has resigned from the All Progressives Congress and joined the Allied Peoples Movement ahead of the 2027 Adamawa State governorship election. He was unveiled as the APM governorship candidate on Saturday in Yola, where he said his decision was driven by a desire to pursue a people-centred development agenda. The event was attended by APM leaders, traditional and community leaders, youth and women groups, and supporters from all 21 local government areas of Adamawa State. Haske described his move as a convergence of principle and purpose, and pledged to focus on accountable leadership, economic empowerment, youth inclusion, and sustainable development if elected.
