Donnarumma Burglary: ‘Mastermind’ Jailed For 9 Years After Goalkeeper Attacked

A Paris court has sentenced Ilyas Kherbouch, 21, to nine years in prison and fined him €80,000 for his role in a violent burglary at the home of Manchester City and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Co-defendant Moktar D. received a five-year sentence, with two years suspended, while a third defendant, Khyan M., was acquitted. The attack occurred in July 2025 at Donnarumma's Paris residence, where intruders assaulted the goalkeeper and choked his then-fiancée, Alessia Elefante, with a cable. Donnarumma, now 27, was violently assaulted during the raid.
