Sandra Okpara, a single mother of two, mistakenly transferred N1,640,200 to an account linked to Pastor Jerry Eze's Streams of Joy International while attempting to send the money to a Zenith Bank account. She had initially transferred N1,000 as an offering before making the erroneous transfer. After noticing the error on her receipt, she made a public appeal on social media, stating that the money belonged to people she was expected to pay. Okpara has now recovered the full amount.
