The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of candidates for the 2027 Presidential and National Assembly Elections, featuring 18 political parties. The list, signed by Secretary Rose Oriaran-Anthony, includes President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with Kashim Shettima as his running mate, and Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi. Other candidates are Peter Obi of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with Musa Mohammed Rabiu Kwankwaso, Sunday Chibuzo Okereke of the Labour Party (LP) with Hajja Bintu Konto, and Sandy Ojang Onor of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with Umaru Babangida. The list also includes other candidates cleared by the Commission.
