Nigeria’s Patience Wearing Thin Over Killings in South Africa, Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation and High Commissioner designate to South Africa, Femi Fani-Kayode, condemned the alleged killings of two Nigerians in Johannesburg. Bishop Michael Taiwo Fakunle was reportedly killed at his home on September 4 after receiving threats, while James Uchechukwu Nwankwo died on September 5 following what Fani-Kayode described as gruesome interrogation by South African police. Fani-Kayode warned that Nigeria's patience is wearing thin and that failure to prosecute perpetrators could affect bilateral relations.
