The National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, has mourned the death of former Governor of old Gongola State, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. In a statement, Mark described Tukur as a prominent figure whose contributions to Nigeria's political, administrative, and economic development spanned decades. He noted that Tukur's public service record, including his tenure as Governor, Minister of Industries, and later leadership of the PDP, reflected a life devoted to the nation.
