Gunmen have killed three herders and about 50 cows in the Aloghom area of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The attack occurred a day after another herder was killed in Barkin Ladi LGA. The victims were identified as Garzali Shaibu, 18; Bashiru Yakubu, 14; and Salim Abubakar, 15. The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) confirmed the incident, stating that the herders were attacked while tending to their cattle.
