Fintiri declares three-day mourning for late gov of Gongola state

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has declared three days of mourning in the state following the death of Bamanga Tukur, a former governor of the defunct Gongola State and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). As a mark of honour, the flag will fly at half-mast during the mourning period. Tukur, a nonagenarian, passed away after a protracted illness.
