Chelsea were held to a 2-2 draw by newly promoted Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Mohamed Belloumi scored twice in the first half to expose the hosts' defensive frailties and deny Xabi Alonso a return to winning ways in the Premier League. Morgan Rogers had given Chelsea an early lead after seven minutes before Belloumi turned the game around. Joao Pedro rescued a point for Chelsea in the second half, but the hosts could not find a winning goal despite late pressure.
