Gov Yahaya Swears-in 19 Permanent Secretaries, Sets Stage for Massive Civil Service Recruitment

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has sworn in 19 new Permanent Secretaries, the largest single appointment of its kind in the state's history. The governor noted that this brings the total number of Permanent Secretaries appointed by his administration to 55 over seven and a half years, along with over 100 directors elevated to the senior administrative cadre. He also disclosed that his administration is preparing for a massive recruitment drive in the civil service.
