Businessman and politician Hon. Abdulrahman Haske has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) as its governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Adamawa State. Haske made the declaration on Saturday at an event attended by APM leaders, stakeholders, traditional and community leaders, youth and women groups, as well as supporters from the 21 local government areas of the state. He said his decision to join the APM was driven by his conviction that the party offered a credible platform to pursue a people-centred development agenda and build a more prosperous, inclusive and secure Adamawa. According to him, the move represented "a convergence of principle and purpose" and reflected his commitment to accountable leadership, economic empowerment, youth inclusion, social development and sustainable growth.
