Liberia: President Boakai Reaffirms National Commitment to Return 250,000 Children to the Classroom

Liberian President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to returning out-of-school children to the classroom through the Back to My Classroom (BTMC) Campaign. Launched in 2024, the campaign aims to return 250,000 out-of-school children to education by 2029, starting with 80,000 children in seven priority counties in 2026. President Boakai endorsed the rollout of the strengthened BTMC model to six additional priority counties.
