Ultimate Championships: Ajayi finishes as fastest African in 100m final, wins $25,000

Nigerian sprinter Kayinsola Ajayi finished fourth in the men's 100m final at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship in Budapest. He ran a time of 9.93 seconds, missing the podium by a narrow margin. Ajayi was the fastest African in the final and won $25,000 in prize money. Kenny Bednarek won the inaugural title.
