The United Kingdom's Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has confirmed that the sexual offence case involving Nigerian dancer Iweh Odinaka, known as Poco Lee, remains active. The CPS Press Office stated on Saturday, September 12, 2026, that Odinaka is still scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, for his Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing. The clarification follows unverified online claims that the complainant had withdrawn the charges, that the matter had been settled privately, or that the dancer had been released from prison. The CPS did not elaborate on whether the defendant remains in prison custody on remand or has been granted bail.
