At least three major banks have paid outstanding import duties on their aircraft, with one paying N3bn, amid a recovery drive by the Nigeria Customs Service. The payments come as the Customs intensifies efforts to recover unpaid duties on imported aircraft. The banks' compliance is part of a broader crackdown on duty evasion.
