Ladipo Johnson, former national publicity secretary of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and a legal practitioner, discussed the prospects of opposition collaboration ahead of the 2027 general election in an interview with Kunle Oderemi. He stated that the Osun governorship election demonstrated that Nigerians are ready to reject intimidation. Johnson is also the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Lagos Central.
