The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has trained 220 youths in Benue State on entrepreneurial and technical skills. The training, which lasted one week, included 100 men who learned solar power installation and 120 women who were taught the production of household essentials such as soap, liquid soap, and Vaseline. Starter packs were provided to the beneficiaries to help them establish their own businesses. At the closing ceremony in Wannune, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, represented by his Technical Adviser, Prof. Babatunde Bolaji Benard, said the initiative was part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to empower Nigerians.
