Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has called for the punishment of drug pushers, describing drug abuse as a menace to society. He made the call at the close of a three-day sensitisation programme against drug abuse and domestic violence held in Kaduna. The programme was part of Abbas’ constituency outreach, organised in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency (NOA). Abbas emphasised that while dealers need the law, dependent persons need care, and urged parents, schools, pharmacists, and the public to participate in combating the problem.
