Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dr Dele Alake has urged Taraba State to develop its mineral deposits into bankable investment opportunities to create jobs, industries, and sustainable revenue. Speaking at the Solid Minerals Investment Roundtable 2026 in Jalingo, Alake said mineral resources remain mere potential until supported by credible geological data, investment, infrastructure, security, and value addition. He stated that the federal government is ready to support the state in attracting serious investors, noting Taraba's potential to become a major mining investment destination if it provides the right conditions.
