More than 50 housekeepers working within the Ministry of Health across Mahe gathered at Espace Bar and Cafe for a special Housekeepers' Week dinner attended by President Dr Patrick Herminie. The celebration recognised their contribution to maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments across the country's health facilities. Addressing the housekeepers, President Herminie placed particular emphasis on respect for the profession, reminding those present that the work they do carries dignity and contributes directly to the reputation of their respective establishments. He said housekeeping is a profession that deserves respect and that the standards they maintain contribute directly to the reputation of the establishments they represent.
