Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has rallied APC leaders and supporters in Kogi East to work for victory in the 2027 general elections. The governor made the call during a thank-you and victory mobilisation tour for the APC Kogi East Senatorial candidate, Chief Dr Joseph Ameh Erico, which ended with a homecoming reception at Etutekpe, Okpo, in Olamaboro Local Government Area. This follows the inauguration of the Capt. Idris Wada reconciliation committee to unite party factions. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has listed Erico as the APC candidate for Kogi East senatorial district.
