Parliament has confirmed that a man in his 30s unlawfully entered the parliamentary precinct in the early hours of Friday morning. The individual was immediately apprehended by Parliamentary Protection Services and handed over to the South African Police Service. He is currently in police custody. The trespassing incident did not disrupt parliamentary operations, and Parliament has reiterated its commitment to maintaining security measures.
