Grandma's 72 and still working to support her children — and theirs

Joann Ernst, 72, has taken a job in the special education department of a local school to support her son Jack and his two young sons. She paid Jack's rent and spent weekends shopping for and disciplining her grandsons. In June, she moved from Connecticut back to Oregon to help her daughter Joanna with childcare.
