Bamanga Tukur Laid To Rest In Hometown, Yola

The remains of former PDP National Chairman Bamanga Tukur were buried in his hometown of Yola, Adamawa State, on Sunday after Islamic funeral prayers. The prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Modibbo Adama Central Mosque, Alhaji Ahmadu Bobboi, and his remains were interred at his family house at Fadde-Sanda. Tukur died on Saturday at the age of 91 and is survived by two wives and 18 children. Among those who attended were Aliko Dangote, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, Senator Iya Abbas, and former Governor Jibrilla Bindow.
